On 5-7 October, ALO 116 000 Albanian Helpline for Missing and Exploited Children, attended a study visit at “Child Focus” and “Missing Children Europe” in Brussels, Belgium. Child Focus and Missing Children Europe are two leading institutions in Europe in the area of combatting against missing, trafficking, exploitation and abduction of children.
Experience and best practices exchange in order to create bridges of cooperation in addressing the Issues of missing children with international impact was the purpose of this visit.
Representatives of ALO 116-000 get informed on the way Child Focus menages the cases of missing children. Child Focus through the number 116 000 is the first instrument with the support of state structures in Belgium that respond to missing, exploitation and child abuse cases.
During the visit at the European Federation (Missing Children Europe) for missing and sexually exploited children was valuate the progress of ALO 116 000 Albanian Helpline for Missing and Exploited Children. Albania through ALO 116 was the first non-member state of the European Union which has made functional the number 116 000 to help the children. During this meeting, special attention was dedicated to parental abduction, missing unaccompanied migrants minors and child cross border dissaparence due to the intensity of this kind of cases in the Europe and region. 
This visit served as an opportunity to increase the capacity of ALO 116 000 in order to implement the most successful European practices in the field of missing and exploited children and to establish new contacts for collaboration on issues of runaway and disappearance of children and interstate transboundary nature.
