CRCA/ECPAT Albania: Exhibition with Post-Earthquake Children’s Works!

The drawing you see on our web site is the expression of a 7 year old child from the city of Durres, who on the morning of November 26, experienced with his family the earthquake anxiety and already heard that he has lost his home as a result of the collapse of the flat where he lived.

Tirana, 29 November 2019 - Children from all over Albania have communicated with CRCA/ECPAT Albania to express their thoughts, feelings and experiences of the devastating earthquake that struck the country. Some children have sent us pictures of their paintings or drawings outlining their emotions, fears, thoughts that accompanied those hours and which continue to accompany them still these days.

Given this, CRCA/ECPAT Albania has decided to open an exhibition with all the works of children who have lost their homes or who experienced the earthquake and by now have returned to their normal lives.

CRCA / ECPAT Albania, announces that you can contact with us to send pictures, drawings or handwritten letters, to our email address:

The exhibition aims to serve not only for charity, but also as a way to express children’s stress related to the earthquake. Meanwhile such exhibitions are also part of our history, reminding us of what happened and how children were influenced in their life by a single natural event.

With the help of experts, we will hold an auction of these drawings, where all the proceeds will go to the families of children left homeless by the earthquake.
