Tirana, 15 May 2020 - Few weeks ago Albania received the invitation to open the negotiations with the European Union. This decision, in addition to the positive side for all young people in the country, also translates into challenges, factors that need to be addressed and political decision-making and accountability. Adapting Albanian youth to European standards, economic level, education, employment and political validity with the class in which Albanian youth is being ranked, all these are some of the questions that every young person addresses to himself and the community.
To discuss in professional ways and make possible not only the support of young people in Albania, but also their representation and integration in the European Union, ANYN, CRCA and YRCA, organized together a web-forum.
This online meeting, sought to co-ordinate accountability and cooperation, the highest institutions of the country, starting from the Albanian Parliament, the Council of Ministers, Municipalities and Youth Organizations of civil society.
Also, this Web Forum became a professional space for discussions on areas that affect Albanian youth, such as education, economy, unemployment, health, their representation in decision-making, referring to the model implemented by the European Union. The Web Forum was attended by representatives of the European Parliament, Parliament of Albania, political youth forums, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, local government and young people, high school students, pupils, representatives of civil society organizations.
Celebrating Europe Day, ANYN, CRCA and YRCA, seek through this online forum to promote dialogue and youth participation on youth issues and the European Union as well as to create a climate of active youth involvement in initiatives support equal opportunities in education, mobilization, employment and promotion of youth participation.
