AMBER Alert Europe welcomes Child Rights Centre Albania

On June 15th, AMBER Alert Europe proudly welcomed its newest member Child Rights Centre Albania (CRCA/ECPAT Albania).  With CRCA joining, AMBER Alert Europe now brings together 36 official organisations, public authorities, and business entities from 23 countries to aid the search for missing children in Europe.

“I am delighted to announce CRCA as our newest member”, says Frank Hoen, Chairman and Founder of AMBER Alert Europe. “Not only does CRCA possess unique expertise in the effort to protect children from sexual exploitation, trafficking, and abduction, its commitment to fight these causes in Albania and abroad is admirable.”

“This is a great achievement for Albania and above for child protection in our country. Together with AMBER Alert Europe, we can make the difference in saving children’s lives from abuse and exploitation. This is a milestone in our work for children and young people”, comments Altin Hazizaj, General Director of CRCA/ECPAT Albania.

Child Rights Centre Albania- The non-governmental organization, CRCA/ECPAT Albania, was established in 1997 to help improve children’s rights in Albania. CRCA works with various stakeholders to help increase awareness of the need for better legislation and policies to protect children from violence, abuse, and exploitation. Furthermore, CRCA promotes the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and all other national and international human rights standards.
