Tirana, 21 December 2012 – This year, the Children’s Human Rights Centre of Albania  (CRCA) and the Albanian National Child Helpline – ALO 116, with the support of the International Commercial Bank (ICB Bank), donated 120 packages for two Day Centers for children living on the streets. This initiative was made possible thanks to the donation that the International Commercial Bank made to CRCA and ALO 116, to help the most vulnerable people of society.
It is the first time that such a big number of children are helped by CRCA and ICB Bank, one of the most serious banks in the country. The philanthropy of the International Commercial Bank was able to  help 120 children from very difficult street situations. It was thanks to the mediation of two Day Centers of Tirana, lead by ARSIS and Save the Children that these children were reached. They were provided with jackets, shoes, gloves, sneakers and other clothing.
This event took place at the Little House No. 38, from 10.00 a.m to 14.00 p.m, in Murat Toptani Street in Tirana. CRCA and ALO 116’s staff was present at the event that day. The staff of ICB Bank exposed their promotional materials at the booth that was put beside the Little House No. 38. ALO 116’s mascots gave a lot of smiles and happiness to all the children that day.
From the social responsibility point of view, taking into consideration the cooperation with the International Commercial Bank, we sincerely hope this to be only the beginning of a philanthropic culture of private businesses in the country. Thanks to these initiatives CRCA and ALO 116 can continue helping much more children every year.
CRCA WISHES TO ALL THE CHILDREN OF ALBANIA, HAPPY HOLIDAYS SEASON AND A NEW YEAR FULL OF OPPORTUNITIES AND JOY!
