
Bilisht 29 June 2021 – Child protection against all forms of violence constitute one of the major pillars of CRCA-Albania. To realize this, we put our efforts to ensure that all professionals who work in contact with the children are well trained, equipped with professional skills and handle cases as per the highest standards of case management, treatment, and reporting.
In the framework of the implementation of the project “Improving Social Care Services for Vulnerable Pepople in Devoll Municipality”, supported by UNDP, CRCA / ECPAT Albania conducted the 2nd capacity building workshop on case management, treatment, and referral mechanism and provision of social care and protection services to children and adolescents victims of violence.
During the training, the employees of the child protection system of this Municipality, as well as representatives of local institutions such as the Local Police Directorate of Devoll, the Local Education Office of Devoll, social workers, lawyers, etc., improved their capacities on the provision of most professional and effective services to children and adolescents as per the national legislation and available local services.
The participants were introduced to the work protocol, approved by the municipality of Devoll, and which constitutes the cornerstone of the work of the Social Workers and all professionals who work are in contact with the children. It is guidance for professionals so that they know their respective responsibilities and provide necessary services as per the Individual Plan of Protection (PIM)
The capacity building workshop was conducted in the framework of the implementation of the joint United Nations program “Improving Municipal Social Protection Service Delivery”(IMSPSD), implemented by the Government of Albania in partnership between four UN Agencies funded by the Common Fund SDG.
